How of Happily Ever After

We all want to live happily ever after. Many may believe that happily ever after means that there is no effort among two. Actually, a good relationship take some work in each partner. After all the two become one. It requires some adjustments.

It is normal for couples to experience some ups and downs in the relationship. It’s not a bad thing. Having conflicts is a part of a relationship. However, sometimes, couples experience a conflict that they are not sure how to resolve, or they have so many issues that build up that they don’t know where to begin.

Communicating with each other is very important in such situations. However, in many cases, couples tend to turn away from each other rather than turn toward each other. It is a common reaction for anyone when we don’t know what to do. It may be a good time to get in contact with a professional counselor, and build a communication bridge.

Marriage Relationship

Sometimes, all couples bump into a rocky road, and go through tough times. Because of years of the past conflicts, you and your partner build up unpleasant feelings toward one another. Therefore little things can trigger a huge fight these days. Or, you and your partner may keep avoiding with issues, grow distant, and drift apart. You feel anger, sadness, disappointment, but you want to re-establish your relationship somehow. You miss how you and your partner were. However, you are not sure how or where to start to re-connect with your partner. Lifescape Counseling helps you to recover your relationship.

Pre-Marital Relationship

It is very exciting to have someone you love and someone who loves you dearly. However, no matter how nearly perfect you and your partner are for each other, there is quite a bit of adjusting to do when ME becomes WE. After all, you and your partner are different entities, and it is natural to feel a bit confused and puzzled about how to reconcile differences. However, if you are having some concerns and issues about your relationship, it may be a good idea for you and your partner to seek couple counseling before you make that commitment. Getting married won’t resolve issues. More likely, your troubles will multiply and become complex. Lifescape Counseling is here to help. We can assist you in the transition from ME to WE.

Intercultural relationship

When you are in an intercultural/faith/racial relationship, it adds up to quite a few layers of confusion and complexity. When your background is different, your native language may be different. Or, maybe, your basic beliefs, morals, and values are different. As a result, you and your partner encounter a number of hardships. For example, you and your partner may have a different idea of being a couple, or being family. Or, you and your partner may have a completely different idea about child rearing. Neither of you are wrong about anything. Both of you are just trying your best. However, you and your partner are not communicating well, almost seem to be speaking a totally different language to each other. It will create unnecessary friction and problems in your relationship. Lifescape Counseling specializes in working with intercultural relationship couples. We can help to enhance understanding of each other and to acquire appropriate information.
